The pilots are described by their race (human/android/cyborg/replicant ), main attributes and skills. They can gain experience points and advance in rank in a role playing game manner. In the factory module the player can design new titans, choosing from numerous equipment and weapon systems. These range from chainsaws to guided long range missiles. The factory is also used to repair team titans after combat. These are resolved in the battle module, using a unique time sliced tu rn system. Players can match their teams against other players or against the art ificial intelligence. The combat does give the player complete control over the actions of t heir titans.
